they are stored in \Phonememory\data\RedFiveLabs directory

if the application ran successfully, the .NET Compact Framework for S60 runtime and class libraries have both been correctly installed

Data Binding Sample Application

This sample illustrates simple and complex data binding with WinForms controls. The sample consists of four forms each of which demonstrate the different functionality of the various controls.

Form 1

On the first form there is a ComboBox, a TextBox, a CheckBox and a Label. All four of these bind to a data source of countries and their capital cities. The Menu supplies popup options of [Forward] [Back] and [Next]. The forward option moves the relevant CurrencyManager position forward by one, and the back option does the reverse. The next option takes you to the next form (Form2).

Form 2

On the second form there is a ListView. Note that a ListBox does not support complex binding on the entire control but only on an item level, so this sample does not show data binding to the ListView but only how one would typically populate a ListView from a Data Source. The menu supplies a popup option of [Next]. The next option takes you to the next form (Form3).

Form 3

On the third form there is a TreeView. Note that a TreeView is similar to a ListView in that it does not support complex binding on the entire control but only on an item level, so this sample again does not show data binding directly to the TreeView but only how one would typically populate a TreeView from a Data Source. The menu supplies a popup option of [Next]. The next option takes you to the next form (Form4).

Form 4

On the fourth and final form there is a ComboBox which is bound to the data source. There is also a PictureBox which is bound to the BarCode node in the data source (the barcode is saved as a base 64 encoded string). This form also demonstrates how data can be formatted as it is travelling from the data source to the controls on the form and parsed on the way back.
